of the tank water, while others are clearly bottom feeders.

Daylight

room when they are being fed, allowing them to eat their aquarium

Some people who have fish that are night feeders make the mistake
of leaving the overhead tropical aquarium light on at all hours,
thinking that it helps maintain the temperature of the water and
is comforting to the fish.
However, many fish have simply starved even when there is adequate
aquarium fish food available because of this tragic mistake. Make
sure you know enough about the fish in their care.
