Auto Pet Feeders Help Feed Your Pets

Auto pet feeders can help feed your animals while you are away.
You may have to go on trip, or want to feed your pets while you
are at work, it is easy to feed your pets with a programmable
auto pet feeder. Helps you keep your peace of mind as you do not
want your pets to go hungry.
The better auto pet feeders are programmable, so that food is
released at a specific period, for a period of time. These are
a little more expensive, but you want to ensure your pets are
fed while you are away.
There are a number autopet feeders, including auto water feeders.
I did not now know about these options until I bought my first
auto pet feeder. Here is my story.
Self Cleaning Cat Box
I like inventions that do things while you aren’t looking. I
remember the awe I felt when I saw a self cleaning cat box for
the first time. It can’t take the litter to the garbage, but it
does take some of the work, and the smell, out of the task.
There are many things in this world now that can be set for
a task and these make lives easier. One thing I really want to
get is one of the auto pet feeders I saw in the store. However,
they do scare me a little bit.

I go away a lot, and there are times when I need to find someone
to feed my cats while I am gone. This is not always easy, and
there were times I had to take them from their home to stay with
someone because I couldn’t find a sitter nearby.
This is hard on my cats, and one of them has seizures. That means
vehicle travel is not recommended. There are times when I have
no choice though. I would think that auto pet feeders would be
the answer to this, but I do have some reservations about them.
What if they stop working while I am away?
Someone Should Still Check On Your Pets While You Are Away
I have visions of my cats pawing away at the auto pet feeders
trying to get food because they stopped working, and I would never
know it.
It’s not like I can call them on the phone to be sure they are
okay. Granted, I would not use these for more than two days at
a time without supervision, as someone would need to care for
the litter box, but all the same, it would be nice to know that
if there were some emergency and I could not be here that they
would still be fed. How much can you count on a machine like that
though? I’m not really sure.
I guess I should look into the auto pet feeders more before I
decide if I want to buy them or not. If they run on electricity,
they might not be the best idea.
Look For Battery Backup For Your Auto Pet Feeders
Though my electricity power rarely goes out due to storm activity,
it would be my luck that it would the few days I chose to be away
from home.
Though there are many bad things that would happen if the electricity
went out, my pets starving would be the worst. They may have a
battery back up, and if they do, that might be the best way to
go.
Do Your Research And Get Answers Online
The answers may be given to you at the pet store where you buy
the auto pet feeders, or contacting the manufacturers for ideas.
A lot of manufacturers have websites, so once you know the manufacturers
of the auto pet feeders, it is easy to visit the website and send
an email with all your questions. You may be able to purchase
an auto pet feeder online and it may be even cheaper than buying
a pet feeder from a pet store.
You can also do more research by looking for pet forums online
and discussing with other pet owners your options and their opinions
about auto pet feeders. They may recommend a specific pet feeder
with a good reputation that will meet your requirements.
After all, looking after your pets and not having to worry about
starvation while you are away, your best solution may be with
quality auto pet feeders.
