Construction Home Building With House Plans

By James R Blunt

House plans decide what a house will look like when it is finished. The construction home building is the process of making those plans a reality. Each home takes several stages to build.

The most popular type of home right now is the manufactured home. These are more popular because they are cheaper and faster to build. The difficulty of your house plans will change the time that it will take to complete your house.

There are several different stages in constructing a home from new home plans. First the ground has to be leveled. If the ground is not level, then the house will settle and the foundation will crack, or the house will sink into the ground. Then the base of the house has to be constructed. This is usually pier and beam or a slab.

The Framework To Build Your New Home

Basic plumbing is added at this part of the building as well. Then they add some of the framework for the house. After the framework comes the walls and roof frame. The rest of the plumbing is added, and then the sheet rock and insulation. They put the roof on, and then add the electrical work. The windows and doors are added, and then they put up the bricks or whatever will be the outside of the house.

Once the outside is complete, then they move on to the inside of the house and add whatever is needed indoors. The last thing to be done is floors and painting, and then finally the yard. This process is used because it is the most efficient for following home floor plans.

Building For A Manufactured Home

Construction home building for a manufactured home is a little different. Usually the homes are constructed all together in a neighborhood. Someone interested in buying the home will look at the different home floor plans offered, and then choose their favorite. Then they are allowed to review their options and choose certain features that will go into that home, such as fireplaces, cabinets and carpeting.

Paint colors are also usually up to the new owner of the home. Then, after the house has been picked and modified, the manufacturer of the home finishes building it to the specifications that the new owner gives. Then the house is ready for the owners to move in. A lot of manufactured home plans are built in Tudor house style, or ranch house plans style. These are easy to build and easy to make modifications.

Nearly Everyone Lives In A Manufactured Home

The home building industry has grown very large over the years, starting with the original suburbs in the 1950s and 60s where the first manufactured homes were used. Now the plans for houses are much easier to modify, and nearly everyone lives in a manufactured home. It is a lot cheaper to operate things that way.

Construction home building is run in much the same way as it always has been. The home floor plans are turned into houses for people. The main difference now seems to be that most homes are part of a manufactured home company. Customization for these homes is more difficult, but still possible, and it is cheaper, so that it why they are so much more popular.

Little Known House Plans Facts....

Buying a house is not cheap. Yes, there are some areas of the country that are cheaper on homes but with today’s economy a buyer has to be careful about what they are getting into.

Many foreclosed homes or ones that have been left empty for too long can be beacons for squatters. Or they could have been vandalized by thieves looking for the wiring to sell.

If you are tired at looking at someone else’s home, you may want to consider designing your own house plans and building a house that is all your own.
