For example, great Danes and larger breeds in general will need
bigger collars because their necks are large.

by external sounds other than the dog barking.
Both types have been proven to be effective in helping control

use both methods at the same time to reduce false readings and
help bring a dog’s barking under control.

The dog must feel at ease with the collar around its neck, since
it will be there all the time. Sometimes your pet will have a
large neck and a small head, so make sure you fit the collar snugly
so that it doesn’t slip off.
It doesn’t matter which you choose, whether it’s a leather dog
collar or an electric training collar, as long as it will be most
useful for your dog.
