Raised Air Bed Garden Nursery Landscaping Guide

Raised Air Bed For Overnight Guests

By Leaf Treehorn

In recent years, there have been many new styles of inflatable air mattresses introduced to the market. Because of the new choices, many people are tending to move away from the low air mattress beds that had you feeling like you were sleeping on the floor.

With the advent of the raised air bed, the traditional inflatable mattresses are being passed over in favor of these higher beds of air. First of all, the closer you are to the floor, the colder it is going to be during the night, making it harder to be comfortable and rest without interruption.

Better Quality Sleep

This type of a bed gets you up off the floor and this fact alone should help to improve your quality and quantity of sleep.

Another reason that a raised air bed is much preferred over the older air mattresses that are down at ground level, has to do with being able to get in and out of them easily. For your overnight guests who have difficultly getting up and down from floor level, raised air beds are a very thoughtful way to make them feel more welcomed and comfortable.

Better Than Getting Off The Floor

If you are using the air mattress bed for yourself as your main mattress, then wouldn’t you much rather start your day in a sitting position coming out of a raised bed of air than trying to haul yourself up off the floor?

There’s not a much better way to send yourself the message that you are getting older, than to start your day off grunting and groaning just to get out of your bed.

Lose Some Air During The Night

The third primary reason why the raised type of air bed is becoming so popular, is because you are not in any danger of your hips or shoulders ending up against the floor as sometimes happens with a low-to-the-ground, older inflatable air bed you might have.

Unfortunately, even the best inflatable air mattress has a tendency to lose some air during the night. However, with the raised air beds you are starting out with a much greater volume of air, so a loss of ten percent will hardly be noticeable.

Beds For Your Guests

In the thinner, older style, such a loss can make a big difference. Also, in general, the quality of the materials used in the raised air beds is reported to be improved which also helps to minimize the air loss during the course of the night.

If you decide to review your options and purchase a raised air bed to have on hand for overnight guests, then you may also encounter a strange tendency that others have experienced: you just might decide to trade in your old, traditional mattress beds.

Many people have set up these raised air beds for their guests, taken a moment to test it or even taken a nap on it and decided that it was much more comfortable than the mattress in their master bedroom.

More Comfortable Than A Regular Mattress

Many people are discovering that a raised air bed is a very viable option to use as their main bed. These air beds are often found to be more supportive and comfortable than their traditional mattresses.

This is because they can be fine-tuned to just the right firmness, which in turn provides the ultimate in sleep comfort.

Little Known Facts About Air Beds....

Camping purists may protest but for the sake of honesty it has to be said. Sleeping on the hard ground in a sleeping bag is uncomfortable and the night seems to last forever. The solution: buying air beds.

You may not want to buy the camping purist one but an air bed can make sleeping on the ground seem as if you were sleeping in the comfort of your own bed. They fold up for easy storage and are quite a great deal for the money. Do not spend another uncomfortable night on the ground.
