Table Top Fountains - The Sound Of Moving Water

Table top fountains add to the beauty of the garden and the landscaping
around the lawn. You might use a table top fountain to beautify
the garden or watch birds come drink and bathe in the water.
It can be an attraction to all manner of birds, as bird fanciers
the world over can testify. A table top fountain brings peace
and serenity to the landscape around your home.
There is something relaxing about the sound of a babbling brooks,
or the water crashing against the shore at the beach. For most
of us, these sounds are not readily available on a daily basis,
so we have to go without.
Listen to the moving water
You can get these sounds on CD, but they just aren’t the same.
If you aren’t happy with CD quality sounds, but really crave the
relaxing feel and sound of water, you are in luck. You can get
a table top fountain to bring the soothing sounds of moving water
to your home.
You can find a table top fountain in all price ranges. I found
one I loved for ten dollars. The fountain is very small, but it
is still relaxing nonetheless.
Feature of an angel
I bought this particular table top fountain because of the angel
and the little girl that were featured. It was a reminder of someone
very special to me, and I would have bought it if it had been
priced at a hundred dollars instead of ten.
Available in specialty stores
If you go to a specialty store like Bed Bath and Beyond, you
are more apt to find one at any time of the year. You can find
simple models, and you can also find elaborate models that have
extras like sand gardens and other relaxing extras.
You may also find a table top fountain online. This might be
the best place to find them, and they may come at a fabulous price.
If you want to get one for a gift, you may be able to order and
have it mailed directly to the recipient. You can find used ones
on eBay, but remember to check the condition of the item over
carefully before you buy.
Careful of condition of used fountains
Because certain types of water, like hard water, can eventually
ruin the insides of a table top fountain, you might be getting
a used one that won’t work very well.
If this does happen to you, run a diluted amount of vinegar through
your table top fountain a few times to clean out mineral deposits.
It may just work like new again after that, and will give you
the soothing sounds of water that you crave, right in the privacy
of your own home.
Table Top Fountains around the home
I have a number of table top fountains around the home. One in
the garden around the back of the house and one at the front of
the house.
First time visitors always discuss the beauty and quietness of
moving water around the fountain. They always thought it would
be loud and noisy like a waterfall.
Well, if the table top fountain was as large as a mountain waterfall,
maybe the moving water would make much more noise.
Fortunately for the neighborhood and our family peace of mind,
our table top fountains are relatively small and quiet.
If you try, you can hear the small splashes of water.
